Franco's Pizza

Good slice came in a little hot since they reheated the slice upon paying. It had nice cheese on it, the pepperoni wasn’t the best but the density and crust of it was nice. I would come back however.

Greasy slice but it wasn’t overwhelming. Pepperoni has a nice crisp to it that makes me a fan. crust was also above average and the cheese to sauce ratio was solid. Good Pizza

Overall not a bad slice. Very messy though and heavy. A lot of grease. Pepperoni was different but not bad. A lot of flop and not much crisp but the crust was good.

Very solid slice was great flavor, it is a Buffalo pizza so it’s a bit heavy but has some incredible crunch to it. Sauce and cheese went together pretty nice.

The only reason I went here, is because it is about a hundred yards down the road from bocce club, and I placed an order for pickup and it was going to be 45 minutes. I turned the corner and sure enough there's Franco's with a giant neon sign in their window that says slices, so I thought I might as well as it seems like fate lol ! Franco's is my first run-in with buffalo style pizza, and I actually liked it more than I expected to. I wasn't sure how I would take to buffalo style as it's not as crispy as I like, and quite a bit doughier than your normal slice of pie. With that said the slice I got from Franco's was literally hot out of the oven, and while quite messy, it was still very good! Excellent flavor all around, and even though it was a little greasier than normal, it was good nonetheless. Especially considering a $5 slice will fill up the majority of people!

Kind of reminded me of my childhood days eating Pizza Hut. Very greasy, lots of cheese, lots of dough. Sweet sauce. Just nothing that excites me here.

I believe this review covers all of the Franco’s locations. I really enjoyed their other locations as they have one of the better deep dish pizzas. Slices are hearty and hefty. $3.60 for this slice means you won’t be left hungry for lunch. Here’s what to expect from this location (not all pizza places with the same name are equal. See Bocce Club and Nino’s). To start, the guy that said this pizza is like Little Caesar’s needs his head examined. It does have some of the same characters but so much fresher than a deep dish from Little Caesar’s. With that said, the cheese is plentiful and fresh. The sauce was well balanced in flavor and distribution. The dough, incredibly fresh with a great crispness in the crust. However, the bottom was a little soft for my taste. Yes, you can have a crispy bottom deep dish (Good Guys in Wheatfield). Overall, this is really good pizza for a great price.

Doughy but not undercooked. The sauce is really sweet, but it’s balanced by the saltiness of the crust. Rookie score but it’s accurate.
