Franco’s Pizza and Bar

Alright folks we’re on VACATION having fun in Ocean City, Maryland (#OCMD) and I just HAD to see who’s the king of the pie in this tourist area. My goal is to review a few places a day over the next 4 days and we’re starting off with the spot closest to my hotel lol. I picked up a slice from Franco’s and also Gratto’s (see next review) and it’s time for the showdown. Onto the slice.... First.. the looks... amazing. Paper thin...cooked just right. Despite the thin slice...it felt “heavy” in the hands and for almost $4... I wasn’t impressed off the bat with the price. Subtle tangy tomato flavor in the sauce and the cheese was pretty good. The combo works. A bit chewy but could have been the 5 mins I waited trekking down the boardwalk... sweating my ass off. It had a floury crust...but the flavor was better than most. I’m excited to see who’s the king of OCMD and Franco’s didn’t eliminate themselves from the running. That’s a review #1 in OCMD. Stay tuned!
