Apologies, but the app does not have the Plantation Florida location yet, and I wanted to keep a record of my review😊.
Today is a day to put in the history books. I finally had the privilege of rating a place considered one of the top 5 pizzerias in the entire county.
1. They are world famous for their New Haven Connecticut style pizza, serving since 1925. They now opened in Plantation Florida and rumor has that they are opening one in Delray Beach.
2. With their charcoal brick oven and hand made dough, and with the freshest ingredients, they handed me a masterpiece.
3. Sauce was amazing and slightly sweet. Cheese was the gooey/creamy type that melts perfectly in the high heat oven. Dough had an amazing char all around the edges.
4. My rating is 8.7 ( the highest score to date, beating out the famous John's of Bleeker street by .01)
P.S. although it was totally fantastic, it is a coal oven pizza. My go to style, still though, is NY style in a regular oven!!!
