Can we just take a second to appreciate this... I’m drooling. PRO TIP: (for non charcoal lovers) ask for the pizza LIGHTLY BAKED!!! I allllways get their pepperoni pizza lightly baked and it has never failed. My favorite pizza and I don’t even eat red meat

Floppy and hot as fuck but it lives up to the New Haven hype. The crust is top tier and the sauce is mind blowing.

One of the best pizzas I have had in North America. Very little flop, sauce is good but the best part is the thin crunchy crust. Delicious

1/2 cheese 1/2 white clam - wish I ordered full clam after first bite, so f’n good. Best pizza you’ll ever eat and always lives up to the hype with that signature char crust and generally I put them in the 9’s but they didn’t cut my large the way Pepe’s normally does so that’s gotta be a deduction.

This is my first time at the Mohegan Sun location for Pepe’s. Understandably, the waitress told me that the bacon wouldn’t be completely crispy as this location doesn’t do it as well done as the New Haven location, because many casino goers don’t like that char. I do, but luckily they kept it in a bit longer for me. Crust was extra crispy, not too much flop or grease despite all the meats. Great pizza! My personal favorite at Pepe’s is the Margherita or Original Tomato Pie. Can’t go wrong honestly!

Pretty greasy but the crust is absolutely perfect. Tangy sauce, perfect amount of cheese, easily the best pizza in eastern CT

Alright, Frankie..not the original Pepe's location but some of the best coal fired pizza in Southeastern, CT. Two pizzas here. One half original tomato/margarita and the other meatball. First off, the meatball pizza will make your mouth water! Tasty, large slices of garlicky, cheesy meatballs, just like grandma used to make. Secondly, the margarita pizza featured fresh basil and mozzarella. The other half was Pepe's original tomato pie w/pecorino romano cheese, crisp crust and crushed tomato sauce. A tradition since 1925.
