Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana

Tasted quite generic.

I just don’t get why everyone hypes this place up. Dave this pizza was average at best. You gave it an 8.3!! Are u crazy! It couldn’t hold a candle to some of NY’s finest pizzerias. Never coming back!! Connecticut pizza 👎🏻

Honestly (and shockingly) better than when I was last in New Haven

Fresh mushrooms, tangy sauce but wish it was crispier crust. Lots of flop.

Just ok. This pizza doesn’t come close to the quality and perfection of Frank Pepe’s in New Haven. Very doughy and floppy.

Quite a bit of grease which made the pie floppy, sauce was fantastic but also the dough was a bit soft in the crust.

ALWAYS good! Crispy thin crust, great sauce, perfect cheese ratio. Went with peppers onions and hot cherry peppers today 🤤

Could have been cooked a little more. Got the pepperoni. Love the cheese flavor and salty dough. The sweet-ish sauce could still use a touch more distinct flavor.

It’s just not what it once was. Ever since Pepe’s began expanding to different places in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Florida they have not been as good. I got a large meatball and a large salad and paid $50!!!!!! Not worth it. The pizza had flop, was doughy and the sauce didn’t have a lot of flavor. Clearly they are living off their name and past reputation. I think Frank Pepe would be embarrassed.
