I’m a life long Pepe’s fan 45 years, got the clam pie today my sister got a bacon onion garlic, both pies the crust was like a cracker no chew at all. The pies were also really round and there were no air bubbles in ether pie. The franchise has really ruined this place. There old pies are what I grade all pizza against. If I were you I wouldn’t waste my time with Pepe’s, go to Sally’s if there open (opens at 3) of Modern. To say I was disappointed is an understatement.

Wow wow it’s a chewy cheese fest! This pizza is a long way from Missouri - home of Mark Twain - but not ready to go back there anytime soon. Worth the trip!

Loved the crust on this puppy. And even after it had cooled down I found the doughy consistency of this thin pie was just right with a little bit of chew to it though. Pepperoni was definitely made in house or super high quality import. I quite enjoyed this pie and I ate many pieces and still don’t feel terrible. Can you believe that some people eat salads before pie? Fine establishment in the gun wavin haven 🤘🏻

This does not even compare to the other options available on Wooster. It was a good pie and I would eat it again, but something about the crust flavor was not my thing. The amount of olive oil on this pizza was also a bit of a turn off.

Another New Haven staple, great pizza but I have to say Sally’s is a little bit better and I think it’s the fact that Sally’s has more tomato sauce. This pizza is very cheesy and greasy and good but could use a smidge more sauce.
