Pizza Review
Hitting up another Pepe’s location this time in Fairfield, I gotta say the consistency is incredible even on a busy Sunday afternoon. Cut in the traditional Pepe’s slices this pie is a perfect clone of the NH original absolutely crusted with char underneath and has that coal fire flavor with no bitterness as this ovens had years to season in. The sauce is tangy and aided with hard cheese to give it that “funk” bite you die for and the Mozz is gooey and loaded with that NH bite flavor you can only get in this area. This is a masterpiece of a pizza the lighting and the pic just don’t do a justice for how amazing it is and the place itself has the vibes to make you think your on Wooster street. If you don’t feel like waiting a while at the original this is the perfect choice as well as being a little bit closer to home. Fantastic service and staff as well. I know my scoring scale is way off to a lot of others but taking in the entire experience and history combined with the product exceeding the hype and expectations there’s no reason why this or so many other places don’t deserve an incredible score.
