Very good lives up to the hype

Super happy I stopped here and tried this pizza. While it was REALLY good, a little chewy for me. Sauce, cheese and crust were on point.

A little floppier the expected but still a really good pizza. Good consistency of flavours. Sauce very authentic and rustic tasting,

Fantastic, ordered ahead so there was no wait. Its simply great, all around and in every way. Go here and eat.

Both clam pizza and pepperoni were a solid 9.2

Got the clam pizza. It was good but I bet the regular tomato pie is way better.

This place lives up to the Hype, Excellent Service, GREAT pizza

Somewhat disappointed since this place is majorly hyped- but , I can not deny that sauce and crispy deliciousness

Great pizza!! Crunchy crust. Great sauce! Sally’s is #1 but this is close!

Had the white clam. Very close to Sally’s but lowered slightly due to order variation. It was damn good and had tons of flavor. A tad floppy in the middle.

Travelled to New Haven CT after Dave called it the Pizza Capital Frank Pepe’s made a good opening argument for sure! What a delicious pie (got the traditional tomatoe pie with half mushrooms) and really awesome people working there Definitely worth the trip and will be back

So here it is If you put Frank Pepe is most cities it’s the best pizza around But it’s not on the same playing field as modern

New Haven is Special

Absolutely delicious, the sauce and crunch was on point. However the only thing hold this pizza back was the structural integrity of the slice. Service was great. We were there at they’re busiest and we got our pizza in 30 minutes. Overall great pizza experience.

The abstractly cut slices and floppy undercarriage was a major setback in my 10/10 rating, but the taste alone was enough for my mind, soul, and body to have a euphoric reaction. I have years of pizza experience, and believe Dave undersold the amount of quality and class this place truly holds.

This was, by far, the best pizza I have ever had… until I had Sally’s the following day. Pepe’s, however, is legit as F***!!!

The pizza was overall delightful, boasting good flavors. While a tad greasy with noticeable flop, it's still a tasty pie. The undercarriage had a slight char in places. The only drawback was inconsistent slicing, resulting in varying slice sizes and shapes. Nevertheless, the dough, sauce, cheese, and pepperoni were nearly impeccable.
