This pains me to write this because I had high expectations. I’m from Brooklyn, and I think Brooklyn has the best pizza. But I don’t look down on other places like New Haven. But this was a disgraciad. Ice cold pie and they didn’t even cut the fucking thing. If I sent ppl from New Haven to the best pizzerias in Brooklyn and they treated them like this, I would hope they’d have good building insurance. If you are in New Haven for pizza, I would skip Frank Pepe’s and head over to one of the other overrated pizzerias. Or drive another hour and half and head to Brooklyn we’re a pie is hot and actually cut properly.

Absolutely phenomenal pizza. Quality ingredients and fabulous huge brick oven. Hard to get better pizza

Kinda like Sally’s, except less flop. Kinda soup but good flavor. A bit more cheesey too. Also has a little more burnt taste which isn’t bad, just not always my favorite. Over all really good pie

Great crust super thin got the pepperoni pie nice pepperoni’s they use. Picked it up inside was ready when they said it would be also cool to see the oven. Overall was very satisfied

Had a margarita pie. Crust 10/10 sauce 9/10. Best pie i’ve ever had!!

Great pizza. Is it worth waiting the 60 minutes I waited only to be given an attitude by the manager? No. That being said . Joanie’s in Chelmsford Mass is MUCH better. Still a great pie.

Crust is light and well built, and I know it's crispy, but honestly kind of burnt. Sauce is very fresh, but lacks the tang I like. Cheese is good and not greasy.
