We got the Margherita, the original and the white clam pie. All of them were good. I prefer the white clam pie at DeLucia’s in NJ. I live the original pie and I would probably give it a 9.1 but I absolutely loved the Margherita 🍕

Another great pie. Took a. Quick walk down to Pepe’s for the second spot of the day and we most certainly were not disappointed. Not quite as crispy as I was expecting but the undercarriage was still the perfect amount of char. Get on a plane now

Crust is AMAZING… and a skosh (but just a skosh!) less burnt would push this into the 9s.

Disappointed. After hearing so much about this place, I had very high hopes. We got the traditional pie with mozzarella. It was bland. Absolutely flavorless and was undercooked in the middle. Every slice flopped. 7.1 is generous really. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat it.

Pretty decent, really great flavor and sauce. Too thin for me and a little chewy for being burnt on the bottom.

Left a little to be desired compared to other pizzas in the area. It’s good but not great. Worth trying for sure

50/50 cheese on half. Never had the just sauce before, but outstanding. I will go with all cheese next time

The white clam with bacon is the single best pizza I’ve ever had. If you make it to New Haven this pie is a must!

Chewy,I know it’s the style of this place but a bit more chewy then I like.Cheese was amazing so was the crust. And the seasoning on the bottom. The only thing that brings it down for me is the chewiness.

Crispy, best sauce there is, pure simplicity cooked in a 700 degree coal oven. Crispy, chewy (thanks to dough fermenting), mouth watering, and so satisfying. This is pizza at its pinnacle.

Sausage, onion, 1/2 mushroom. I asked for extra char. Love the bitterness of the char. Delicious pie!🔥

Perfect crust and sauce. Had a great conversation with the manager as it was being prepared. Talked about how they get it so good. I really appreciate someone who takes so much pride in their craft.

Impossible to say anything but great things about the pizza. Don’t bother asking for it well done because they make it one way - the right way - and it’s well done. (Photo cred to Frank Pepe’s)
