Crispy, best sauce there is, pure simplicity cooked in a 700 degree coal oven. Crispy, chewy (thanks to dough fermenting), mouth watering, and so satisfying. This is pizza at its pinnacle.

Ordered a small clam pie & a medium pepperoni & cherry peppers. Thin & crispy is an understatement. Perfect amount of toppings held up to the thin base. 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

Really good tasting cheese and undercarriage. If the sauce was kicked up a notch, this would be in the 9’s but because it was kind of weak, 8.5 is the right score.

Had the white clam. Very close to Sally’s but lowered slightly due to order variation. It was damn good and had tons of flavor. A tad floppy in the middle.

Travelled to New Haven CT after Dave called it the Pizza Capital Frank Pepe’s made a good opening argument for sure! What a delicious pie (got the traditional tomatoe pie with half mushrooms) and really awesome people working there Definitely worth the trip and will be back
