Much much heavyer of a pie than expected. But fanominal ingredients and flavor

Cool atmosphere and tradition. 1937 coal fired oven ,crispy, crunchy ,and saucy with solid cheese pull .

good not great. pizza came out pretty soupy but didnt reflect on the flavor. sauce was great, crust was crispy, just needed a couple more minutes in the oven

Little bit of an overrate by Pres here. Very greasy and floppy which cut into the score significantly. Taste, sauce, and crust were great but slight bust overall

Amazing taste, great sauce and crust. Could go higher but the middle of the pie was a soupy mess, could’ve used one more minute in the oven. Undercarriage great and decent flop. Good start to the day but expecting even better at the next stops.

I loved this pizza. Drove from brooklyn to try Frank pepe and Sally's apizza. Frank pepe blew Sally's away!!! It's worth the 2 hour ride. And being from brooklyn, I know pizza 🍕 :)

Really good pie

Outstanding Pie in the pizza capital of the world. Crust is unbelievable. A little cheesy for my liking, but I can see the hype for this place. Phenomenal pizza. History is cool.

Passed through New Haven yesterday and picked up Pepe’s and Modern. I had Sally’s a few years ago so this completes the trilogy. I thought Modern was better and I am giving that a 8.0. I think Sally’s was about an 8.5. I was disappointed by Pepe’s. The customer is very good but not great. The cheese is mediocre and the sauce is flavorless. Overall, I was disappointed by New Haven and and starting to believe Trenton is the best place for pizza.

I ordered the Quattro farmaggio , classic cheese, and their version of the pepperoni .. all great pizza but the pep was oilier than humanly preferred. I can see why Dave gave it the classic the score he did.. perfect brick oven pizza crust

Hands down best pizza in New Haven. This is the only place that can handle the crowds without having to wait hours for a pie.
