Grew up in Connecticut and it was always number one pizza in the world before I had Sally’s. I mean just a tick below.

Really good thin crust pizza but I give the edge to Sally’s by a 10th of a point.

Perfect crust and cheese. Tomato sauce could be more tangy/sour—but that’s just what I prefer. Really great pizza.

I went a long way to have this pizza. Not very happy. I thought it would be better

My first New Haven pizza ever and was told Pepe’s is a great place to start. This pie backs up the hype. The sauce was near perfect; not too sweet at all, which was great. Good crispy crust and good cheese ratio. If it was cut a bit better with regular triangle slices, it might have scored higher 😂

One of the best pizzas I have had! Crushed almost the whole pizza myself. Not too much sauce, nice crispy and was very tasty!

My second favorite in New Haven. It’s heavier than Modern, but the taste is amazing.

Doughy w dumb flavor. Sally’s is the best on Wooster but Pepe’s is a must too.

Crust was over cooked, apparently that’s how they do it here. It’s just burnt. Not crispy. Sauce lacks flavor. Pep needs to go on top of the cheese. Still great pizza. Sally’s is just better
