Good slice, cut weird, good sauce very sweet, a little thicker then I would like, and the cheese is good but it was greasy

Reminds me of airport pizza. Mass produced, greasy, poor quality cheese. Not fresh. Still going to eat it but not going out of my way for it. Literally the kind you’d get in an airport.

Been here a couple of times and Pepe’s has never done me wrong, but this location pales in comparison to the New Haven location. I’ve ordered the Tomato Pie, the Tomato Pie w/ Mozzarella, and the Fresh Tomato Pie (pictured). The Fresh Tomato Pie was very underwhelming: cheese was good, but no tomato sauce below it, seasoning on cheese/dough made up for it a bit, but not enough; fresh tomatoes were good, but does not replace the tomato sauce standard in regular pies. The Tomato Pie w/ Mozzarella is the best, so that is what I am basing the score on: cheese good, but seems like maybe sourced differently than other Pepe locations; crust and bottom charred and crispy, but my tongue gets a few cuts every time I eat it so perhaps too much; tomato sauce good

Overall solid pizza. Good crust and sauce. Definitely would recommend the Margherita pizza!

Travelled from the middle of Queens to Yonkers to go to this place. Worth the trip the tomato pie is tangy and great. The regular slice with cheese was so thin in places that it was opaque. Due to the Rona I had to bring it back to Queens and after 20 minutes in an insulated bag it was floppy but the flavor more than made up for any flop.

Best pizza in the area, other than Johnny's in Mt Vernon. Not as good as the original New Haven location, but much better than anywhere else on Central Avenue. After being disappointed a couple weeks ago with a new spot in Hartsdale, I had to get my Pepe's fix, and it never disappoints. Got a small white clam pie too. Can't beat coal-fired pizza. I'd highly recommend eating the pizza straight out of the oven when they open up, but since dining in isn't available now, taking it home is the next best option. Treat yourself to a slice in the car to get the best experience before it starts cooling off. The tomato sauce is fantastic - only better tomato sauce I've had was Sally's in New Haven. It's worth the drive if you're far away. The roasted red peppers are a great topping, and if it's in season during the summer, try the fresh tomato pie.

I don't understand the appeal of this place. So plain and generic tasting. It's but bad but nothing special at all.

Very chewy. Not sure if they had an off day during corona season but very disappointed.

Very good pizza. This is half white clam pizza & half tomato pie. Thin crispy crust & fresh ingredients. Didn’t meet my very high expectations, but this is just one of many locations in a mini chain.

Fair needs alittle of improvement on the Tomato Dough Dough was very good, well made and cooked. Tomato Sauce Zangy and watered, this was the downside. I got use to the watery zangy sauce so much that it started to bore me. Mozzarella: Typical Crust Crust was fun, tasty and the best part of the pizza. Crunchy as well Combination Overall the sauce needs to be thicker, the fresh mozzarella kept slipping around the watered down tomato sauce.

Frank pepe’s The original coal fire pizza great sauce great crust great taste I drove all the way from Long Island to come for the this pizza well worth the drive

Regular pie was very undercooked The clam pie was phenomenal 9.1 on the clam pie
