Frankie & Fanucci's Wood Oven Pizzeria

We like this pizza. They have a proper wood oven. The margarita is really good. It’s probably a little more Neapolitan than Dave likes, but I’m kind of tired of his saltine cracker style pizzas.

As good as you can get when it’s a wafer thin slice with a crispy base you are after. Sauce and cheese combo work like a charm.

A little less doughy and it scores higher

Good crust, no flop, thin like a paper cut... 8.1....

Gotta spread it out bc it comes out really hot but one of best pies in the area and the best on this street.

I ate this luke warm so that might have hurt its score a bit. It was a good standard Margherita. Sauce was a little sweet and crust could have been crispier. However there sausage and onion pie is excellent. At least in the 8s. But we go by Dave Portnoy rules. Cheese is the gold medal slice. P.S Sals pizza is awful now. Sicilian and regular slice is pure trash now. If you’re in mmk and want pizza go here.

Good taste. Fresh mozzarella. One negative - bottom of pizza lacks crispness. Floppy slice.
