Frankie's Chicago Style Pizza

I grew up near here and this has always been one of my favorite pizza places. Probably closer to a 7.8 score, but I gave it a little extra based on nostalgia. Good crust. Good toppings. Good pizza.

Hard to find better Chicago style up here in this frozen wasteland of a state.

Got the 14 inch pie and oh boy that filled me up. I could only eat 2 slices. Wish my ex-wife Janet would have stumbled on this place instead when she was looking for 14 inches on Craigslist’s and started hooking up with that jerk Todd

Absolute pizza perfection!! Sauce is incredible, really makes the pizza!!

One of my go to places when I find my way to MN. Great pies, great slices. One of the best stuffed pies around.

Dough on steroids. Greasy AF. Sauce is at least somewhat decent.

Got the recommended Frankie’s Special pan style. Surprisingly a nice crisp to it. Two slices and I was full. If I am ever in the area again, I will be coming back here.

Kinda greasy but good otherwise

Alright....this place is a rare Chicago style pizzeria in the northwest suburbs, but they do more than just deep dish. Thin crust cheese was a little greasy, not quite crispy enough. Pan pizza goes heavy on the cheese game, and the crust has a solid buttery flavor. Didn’t get a shot at the “real deal” deep dish but we’re here for the gold medal cheese pizza. Leagues above the usual chains, but just a touch or two off real greatness.
