Alright Frankie, this pizza has the perfect crisp and crunch. The cheese is underneath some of the best tasting sauce I’ve ever tasted. The plain cheese pizza was good but the slice with the thick cut pepperoni was absolutely delicious. Just a crispy cheesy slice with flavorful sauce and juicy pepperoni.

Some of the best sauce I’ve ever had, but the crust on this one is dense and stiff like cardboard. Cheese is good. A better crust just put this over the top.

First time trying pizza in Beaver County! I have heard about the friendly rivalry between Frank’s and Police Station for years. Police Station actually won 2022 Pittsburgh Pizza of the Year! I was extremely excited to try this place. It has been around since 1957 and they load the pie with sauce, so my expectations were extremely high. Unfortunately not all of my expectations were met. I just didn’t love the sauce, I feel like I’ve tasted that exact pizza sauce on mall pizza. I wasn’t a fan of its consistency either. I usually like my sauce thinner than this, but you wouldn’t be able to put it on top of the cheese like that. I couldn’t really get a good taste of the cheese because it’s under the sauce, but there’s a lot of it. The dough and crust are perfect, but that should be the minimum prerequisite if the place has been around for four generations. I wish I liked this pizza as much as everyone else does up here. The sauce is just too boring to have so much of it on the pie. Next time I’m up in Ambridge I’ll have to try the “Best Pizza in Pittsburgh.”

Disappointed a little. Had this 20+ years ago and it was a lot better. Won't be going back. Nice sauce, okay dough. Everything else was below average. Not enough cheese, sausage crumbles are not cool with me.

One of my all time favorite pizza places. Family owned, been around forever, can’t beat it.

Good, but not great. Really like the sauce, not a fan of the thick pepperoni, but that’s just a personal preference. Traveled for it and I could have much better pizza closer to home.

Amazing pizza!! Sauce is amazing and just the right amount of spice. Near perfect thicccccness and crust is on point. The pepperoni is thick cut and adds a whole new texture to the pie.

Should have been kept in oven longer with a little less sauc

Not sure where to start. Frank’s has been open since 1958. Atmosphere inside on Friday night is electric. Phone is ringing off the hook. I haven’t had their pie in awhile but it’s just as perfect as I remember. Sauce, cheese, crust is all exploding with flavor. This is pie you travel a long distance for because it is that good!
