Pizza Review
Frank’s pizza has been serving up pizza since 2002 and I heard they make an excellent thin crust grandma slice. They were not kidding, this is a beautiful looking thin crust grandma. I love the thinness and delicate nature of this slice. First bite encompassed all the amazing things you would expect from a thin crust like this, it had that airy, crispy and crunchy cracker like texture with the sweetness of the tomato and the strong herbal notes from the pesto drizzle. The cheese was nice and flavorful with a good softness in the bite that matched well with the crunchiness of the crust. Edge to edge was consistent, there were no softer spots anywhere, it was awesomely crisp throughout every square inch. I really enjoyed this grandma slice, the flavors and structural textures hit all the notes that I personally love. If I had any complaint, it would be that due to how thin this slice is, it might take an entire pie to fill me up 😆 I also got a plain slice but it was your average NY slice, good balance of sauce to cheese, pretty good crispness with no flop but overall nothing to write home about. It was a pretty standard local neighborhood slice that you wouldn’t complain about. My advice, get the Grandma! As a matter of fact, get a few!
