This pie has got the most electric crunch I've ever had. Unbelievable that Fredi is able to get that much crunch on such a thin pie. Every bite is like an earthquake in your mouth, Frankie. The sauce wasn't quite as tangy as I was expecting, so didn't quite make the high 8s, but you can't go wrong with this pie. Fredi is as quality a guy as they come and it's reflected in his pies. The Motor City has it all baby. Grit, determination, and a nice margherita pie. Barry Sanders would be pleased. That's a review.

Pretty good, not too much cheese or sauce very good amount of each. Crust passes the flop test, has a very good crunch. Could use a little more something for more flavor but overall a pretty good pie.

Hands down test pizza in Michigan, if you like New York style pizza this is your place. Roughly 30 to 35 minute wait but well worth it. They do sell out for the day.

It’s absolutely the best Pizza I have ever had. I looked forward to this for months and this was the very first thing I ate in our trip to Detroit, and the best. Fanfukintastic!

Absolute fantastic pizza right here, so good that if it was in New York City it might be known as one of the best in the country! Fantastic crunch on the crust, super fresh sauce with a touch of sweetness and excellent cheese. Everything tasted super fresh and you can see why Dave ranked this so high (8.7). It’s really hard to make this type of pizza while not using a coal fire oven, but they’ve perfected it. I don’t get to Detroit all that often and I was a little hesitant that I would not be getting a Detroit style pizza (which is one of my favorite), but I think I made the right choice here!

Worth the wait! The people are very friendly as well. Had to go with a rookie score 9.0 because my highest score is 9.1 for Piper’s in FL and that’s still my #1. Fredi’s is absolutely #1 in MI!
