I’m a fan of extra cheese but this pizza didn’t even need it in all honesty. Sauce is amazing. Perfect char on the crust. This pizza Fuocs!

Why. Drive to New Haven. Got better coal fired pie right here. And fried calamari!

Best new pizza joint in CT. Amazing coal fired pie that checks all the boxes of authentic New Haven style pizza. Thin, crisp undercarriage with a bit of chew, fresh ingredients, not over sauced, and just the right amount of the classic brick oven char. Fuoco’s also has unique in-house specialities. A modern take on old school New Haven style pizza

Excellent. Great sauce. Got here days after El Presidente even though he has not posted video and score yet. Weird that I can not search for this place on app BUT can find on the map. This place about to get much more busy after Dave’s score!

Amazing pizza, awesome owners! My son couldn't wait for me to take a pic before he stole a slice!

First time trying this staple in Cheshire CT. Had a bit more flop than I anticipated, but basing that solely on the amount of time spent in the box during the transport home. Flavors were excellent, had that New Haven style Apizza char. Highly recommend to anyone in the surrounding area!!

Had the pepperoni, hot honey pie. Was crisp and delicious. A local gem worth a try.

Coal Fired, New Haven style Apizza. One of the best pizzas you will ever have. Perfect thin crust with a nice coal fired char, similar to Sally’s. Generous on the sauce just like a New Haven style pizza should. Portnoy should have this on his radar by now. Up there with the Big NHV 3.

We had heard that one bite here and you would think you were on Wooster Street. Spot on. We do like the char so we ordered this well done and you can get it done lightly if that is your preference. Great crust and the sauce was perfect. Can’t wait to try the New Haven Pie next. Only down fall is that it’s an hour from home but worth the drive or if you’re in the area. You won’t regret it.

They’re back!!! After about a year or more Fuoco reopened this week with a new coal oven ready to go and man did it live up to the hype I’ve been waiting for. The mozz up around here is always on another level and has the same flavor and zing that all the heavy hitters do as well as a crust that’s charred with a great undercarriage, leoparding all over like I love. But the sauce….my god it’s on another planet, one of the best in my personal taste, it has that zing you look for, such a fresh taste. Perfect ratio and combo, all three phases compliment each other leading to me crushing the entire 18” pie in less than ten minutes and it retains its heat very well. Staff and owner incredible people, so friendly and happy to be there and the place itself has a great feel inside. This is a pizzadventure worth the 3 hour drive each way and one I’ll for sure be back for as the oven seasons in, every pie will make the next one that little bit better.

A great local spot, in my opinion better than any New Haven! And they have a great gluten free pizza as well!!! Fantastic family owned.

Finally got a chance to eat “in” and right out of the oven. Great pizza!

Good taste overall. Lots of burnt crust do to thin spots. I’m not a fan of wood fired, but this is pretty good.

Perhaps I got a dud? It was super floppy, soggy and almost chewy. Good flavor.

Totally meets expectations. Better than the Big Three in New Haven

Good coal fired pie, but expect the flop. A bit heavy on the sauce, but great tang to the flavor. Tried a sausage and cheese. Good ingredients, but the sausage is flat. Crust is good and Im usually not a fan (bar-sytle guy). Not a greek-style fan so the Best Pie in Cheshire IMO.
