Gaetano's Pizzeria & Creamery

This one slowly lets you down. First slice is good. Tangy with a hint of sweet sauce. Decent crust, Pepperoni is on the greasy side, and is slowly but heavily pooled in the box. Then you hit the crust which was covered in a garlic butter type spread which is a nice finish, like Sbarro, a fun ending. Not bad...but that garlic butter will come back to haunt the next slices. It slowly muddles and ruins all flavors in later slices.

The pizza was super doughy. The undercarriage had no crisp to it. Cheese was ok kinda strong flavor but zero pull to it. The crust was not crunchy, it was doughy as well.

This was a long awaited review being that I just moved to the jenks area and holy $*#+! There are two types of cheese pizzas, hand rolled and thin crust. Both had great crisp and the hand rolled crust is a garlic one, making it an elite slice. The thin pie is a straight comp of a bar pie in my favorite spot in North Jersey, Star Tavern. I gave the crown to a different pizza spot in Tulsa earlier this spring. And spoke too soon.

Good crisp pizza zero flop. Quality pizza.
