I guess this is bakery pizza - like a grandma slice. I could smash half a dozen of those little devils.

Underwhelming because of the hype. Looks way better than it is, undercarriage has no crispiness

Fluffy but solid. Great sauce and incredible cheese. A must try if you’re in the area. CASH ONLY. I didn’t have any cash but the guys were so nice and gave me a slice for free

Was it worth the hour line? Honestly no, but I would wait in line probably 10-15 minutes for it. Was lucky enough to get a fresh pie thrown in front of me right as I was getting to the front of the line, but it was not as crispy as I had expected. Cheese was tasty but was coming off in sheets, sauce was fantastic and the dough had a good flavor to it despite the lack of crispness. Got an arancini that was great as well. A few tweaks and this could be one of the best in the city, though I have a feeling that won’t ever be happening since it is a true North End institution. Overall still a solid slice, but not worth waiting in line for longer than a short wait.

Great atmosphere and great pizza

Really average pizza with a pretty good crust. Place is bare bones, cheese only, $2.25 slices, and a line out the door. Definitely a good place to go few a quick and cheap slice but far from anything to write home about. Big time flop as well.

bang for your buck

very solid slice. nice and airy, sauce has great flavor. only complaint is the cheese kinda falls off as you bite the pizza. great mouthfeel on the crust. i feel like if you get a piece without crust, it would detract from the overall experience. wonky and annoying hours of operation.

Cant beat the price. You get what you pay for.

THE DARK SEA

Delicious and cheap- can’t go wrong. Really unique crust and flavourful sauce.

$2.25 a slice can’t beat that but was lacking flavor. Average French bread pizza. Crust was airy and had a good crunch, but just left me wanting more.

Neighborhood pizza, been here forever, good under carriage but still a little soft on bottom, good sauce and cheese, pan pizza. I would buy again.

Forget flop, forget the line, forget the service. The sauce, the sauce has f’n flavor. Light years above other spots. Can’t be replicated.
