Dave must have lost his mind when he gave this place a 6.6 as it's the best Sicilian slice I've ever had! I lucked out with this one, as the person in front of me bought the rest of the slices, so they had to bring out a brand new fresh pie! I was able to get the corner slices without even getting a dirty look from the guy working the counter LOL The pie had a nice soft pillowy dough with a great crunch on the crust. Sauce and cheese were absolutely excellent as well and the flavor was unreal overall! It's going to be tough to find a sicilian slice that can top this, but eventually I'll make my way to Jackson New Jersey, to see if Brooklyn square can do it! Make sure you get there early, as the line was wrapped before noon, and as soon as this place sells out they close for the day.

Forget flop, forget the line, forget the service. The sauce, the sauce has f’n flavor. Light years above other spots. Can’t be replicated.

Galleria Umberto, a legendary spot in the North End of Boston. I showed up and the line was nearly out of the door. Old school vibes inside. Ok, the slice! Not too bad at all. Sicilian style, floppy and cheesy. There was some nice sauce flavor here, I do wish there was some more though. The cheese had some solid flavor but there was too much of it for me. The crust had no crunch. This spot is only open a short while each day, the slice was $2….if you’re in the north end while Umberto is open and the line isn’t too crazy, it’s worth popping in to give a shot, if only because of its legendary status in the neighborhood.

Tried a center and corner, corner got it in the upper 7s. 10-3 M-F and Cash Only, you know you got a winner. Third favorite in North End.

Great fluffy crust, sauce has great taste, cheese didn’t have the same amount for flavor that the sauce did, not much grease at all. Solid slice and super cheap

We did this on the Pizza tour. But I am not sure I would wait in that crazy line for it. Very good cheese blend, but greasy and hard to eat. Dave’s description is very accurate.

It's a good slice of pizza. However, may have been below expectations. Everything on top is good, crust and underneath felt soggy enough to detract a bit.
