This is a hometown pizza: the people who live here will generationally start to use it as their benchmark for "what pizza is". Good sauce/cheese ratio, good cheese, cup pepperoni was a nice surprise, good savory sauce with just enough sweet tomato-ness peaking through, great dough. I do wish it was a little blacker on the bottom, but I know that's my weird preference. Redhead at the counter is an asset to the business: infinitely cheerful. Guys in the kitchen seem to have a good vibe with one another, too.
I grade harder than Dave does and it earns its 8.
