Soooo, popular local spot that is part of several different locations I believe are all owned by the same family. This is the original location. All in all, always a good pizza. Tavern cut as you’d expect in the Midwest. I usually get their 7 cheese blend with their fresh made chunk sausage. I’m a ground sausage guy but they only do chunk which is good with me. When in Rome. Here you’re going to get a pretty mild flavorful sauce with a slight tang. It’s very good and the ratio to ingredients is pretty spot on. The crust is definitely unique to them. It’s flavorful, golden, airy and light. There’s definitely some very good pizza around the northwest part of Indiana and this is one of the spots to check out. Very good slice.

Ehhhh. That’ll do pig, that’ll do. Crust is good, but the sauce......I dunno it’s to sweet for me. It has a tangy sweet taste. But the pizza is always hot and fresh. I guess it’s just a taste preference. I prefer more cheese to melt into the crust, this pie is more crust than anything. My wife loves this place, so she gave it a 8.1. I’m sticking with a 6.5, that’s a review.......boom
