A 6.7 for the margherita slice, with some burrata giving it a really good taste but disappointed by the lack of sauce under the cheese. Cheese slice is solid, very good crust but grease oozing from the top

pizza was on the better side of average. Crust is good and thin but could be cooked a little more, Sauce was very good but there could be a little bit more, Had grease but was not overwhelming. Could have a little less cheese

Solid pie. Thin with a little doughiness to it. Crust is good on the charred pieces. Not a thick crust. Sauce and cheese are solid. More sweetness than tang to the sauce. I would have liked it to be a little more crisp on the bottom though.

Pictured is an Old World Style pepperoni and pepperoncini pizza. Was pretty dank. Crisp crust, yet a bit of flop, possibly due to the pepperonis. They went a lil light on the pepperoncinis, but was still dank. Forgot the balsamic again.

Too much cheese kept this from being higher. Incredible sauce and texture of the dough. Wood fire oven - can’t miss spot.

Yikes. Some of the pictures in the reviews for this place had me super excited. Now I feel bad... kinda. I mean, i totally got fucked, so i shouldn’t feel bad, but that bitch burnt my pizza, and then had zero extra regular cheese slices left to comp me, so i had to roll with the one i got. She did offer me a slice of sausage, which i quickly rejected. Im usually a sucker for a little char and some crispy crust. This wood-fired turd on the other hand was just burnt. The whole bottom was black and fragile as a potato chip. It wasnt just a nice spotty char like i love. It made the crust bitter and super dry. The plain cheese i would rate a 3.6 i guess? Terrible. The Margherita was a little tasty though. I mean, it still had too much of a char, and a dried out crust, but the sauce was pretty good actually and the cheese was just ok. Id give the Margherita like a 6.4? I think if you were to come here and get a fresh made pizza, in there turntable oven, that spins around in circles at extremely high temperatures, that it would be a completely different result. The pre bake on the slice, and baking it again dries it out im sure. Maybe i’ll go back someday and see. Probably not though. Pope’s is pretty fuckin good pizza, might just as well go there and get something you know and trust.

Great pizza, a lot of flip but expected due to the style of pizza. We ordered cheese, roasted peppers and ricotta. Fantastic Taste, sauce was not overpowering, crust cooked perfect on the edges.

Good slice, wood fired oven. You can almost see the char bubble, it was there, which is good. The bottom had good char and crisp, the sauce had a little tang to it. If you’re in neighborhood I’d give it a shot. Don’t go running for it, but if you’re around. El Pres was right on with his 7.3, I give it a 7.2

Looks like a high score but this is my type of pizza. Very thin. Both the NY style (left) and old world style (right) exceeded my expectations.

VERY solid slices with a good crunch on both the initial bite & the crust. sauce has a good tang to it as well.

Very floppy. I didn’t mind the char. Cheese and sauce were solid. No grease.
