Drunk pizza, but sober. Light on the sauce, heavy on the salt. At the end of the day it’s not that bad, but definitely not my first choice on the South Side.

$8.99 Small — Alright Frankie, Gennaro’s is your typical late night drunk pizza spot. It’s a little cleaner inside than most other places in the South Side. The pizza had some flop, the crust was doughy but had a little crunch. The crust was salty, which I liked. The cheese was very good, but the sauce is what keeps this pizza from being a 7.
