So I checked this local spot out because of all the great reviews. My score reflects the staff and the ambiance, which is why it is as high as it is. Really nice people, clean and welcoming environment. The pizza on the other hand is really odd. I ordered it well done and there was literally zero brown on the undercarriage though the edges were crispy. The crust itself was mushy, the sauce was sweet with a hint of bell pepper and nothing else. They added Swiss cheese into their blend, which as a native NYer is blasphemy. I had to douse in red pepper flakes, oregano and garlic powder to make it edible. I want to support local business and for the locals maybe this is all they know and they are happy with that. Wishing them nothing but success, but if you are a pizza aficionado I wouldn’t recommend it.
