George’s Pizza & Steakhouse

Daughter playing her first college basketball game here in Pella. Stopped by this place after the game. Large half saugage/half pepperoni for $20. This pizza is very blah. Sauce and toppings were very blah and meh. Crust was in between a thin and pan so yeah it had some crunch but it wasn’t very crispy at all. Really nothing stood out about this pizza at all. My son gave this a 4.7. I’m a little kinder but I must say I was really disappointed.

Keep info mind this is Midwest pizza, but it is fantastic pizza for the area. Minimal flop with the cracker crust. Good tang as El Pres would say. Crust is nice and crispy. Very solid

This small town pizza is with trying and loved by the locals. We had the House Special, which is loaded up with toppings like the Greek sausage, beef and Canadian bacon. Very good pizza!

Cooked perfectly! Not too thick or thin, good crisp and perfectly done!

Home town homemade but the quality is just the same cobbled together as cheaply as possible.

Cheese was good,crust had a good crunch to it. The sauce was average over all good pizza. Side note: Don’t burn your fucking face off

Good small town football pizza, cut into squares. A little to much flour on the crust. Can’t go wrong, but won’t blow you out of the water.

Incredible pizza. Thin, cheesy, and a tasty sauce. George’s Special is probably their best signature pizza, but you can’t go wrong here. Quite possibly the best pizza in Iowa.
