Pizza Review
Note: The reviews before mine are not reviews of Gerard's. So this is their first review. Ordered a slice not from a fresh pie just one sitting out after having Baci's around the corner, which is a great pizzeria. CliffNotes review? It's an average New York style slice that's got a pungent garlic (powder) taste to the sauce. Crust cooked medium well, small cornicione, not an airy crust, denser, little greasy, more cheese than sauce like is typical for these slices. It all holds together. Big selling point on (or drawback) to this slice is that sauce is garlicked to the point it overpowers other flavors. You can see oregano but not taste it. Biit salty slice too, which I like. That garlic taste stands out from other pies in the area as distinct but it's not my favorite.
