Gerard's Pizza

You park in an alley and walk up a rickety staircase in the back of an old brick building. The furniture was straight out of the 70s and it smelled really good in there. All those signs pointed to great pizza. Every thing was right except the actual pizza. How they’ve stayed in business over 60 yrs is beyond me. The crust looked like it was going to taste good, but it tasted like a pretzel. Way too greasy, oily and the sauce had no flavor. Waiter was unprofessional, rude and obnoxious.

slightly doughy and greasy but right ratio of cheese to sauce to pepperoni for my personal preference.

Basic football pizza. Has a little flop, but very little crunch.

The small. What a true judging of how you make your pie. AND I LOVE THID PIE. Asked for pepperoni with light sauce. ITS A MONDAY. You can’t under-cook a pie on a Monday. -1 The slices (from whole pies) are amazing. But get a 10-in made me sad. SAD. Too much sauce, cheese tastes worthless and did I mention too much sauce for a “light sauce” request pie. Dejected.
