Giacomo's Pizza

Seen good reviews, so tried it. Ordered one large cheese pizza. Crust= ok, nothing special at all. Sauce= where is the sauce? Literally almost no sauce at all on this pizza. Cheese= lower end cheese. You can get better quality cheese from any of the major pizza chains Domino's, Papa John's, Little Caesars, Etc. So that is not saying much. To top all that off, the pizza came almost cold. Took over an hour, and it is a Tuesday, and not a busy time of day for pizza. The pizza they had offered is a very basic pizza dough, with maybe a tablespoon or two of sauce on the entire large pizza, but to trick the pallet into believing there's actually sauce they add a Sprinkle of oregano over the pizza before adding the cheese to try to give it the impression it actually has sauce on it. Then they add very little mozzarella if any, and mostly Parmesan. Pizza is also oily due to the cheap cheese, but not as bad as I've had from others but still produces a good bit of oil. After looking at the reviews they have, my only conclusion can be that either they have a customer base with an extremely uneducated Pizza palette, or their friends and family have written all of their reviews. This is in my top 5 worst pizza's ever in Palm Beach County. And that says a lot seeing as Florida Pizza is not known for being very good. Days like today make you miss good old Dino's Pizza, wish it was still around.
