Pizza Review
What a charming little spot. You can see their passion during their interaction with their customers. I stopped in on lunch to grab some slices. It was consistently busy in and out; seemed like a lot of regulars as the workers made small talk like they recognized the customers. There is so much variety here, which is uncommon for a spot like this in the suburbs. I went with my usual pepperoni and sausage slices. They were finished off in the oven and I had them 5 minutes later. Overall, the best way to describe the taste of this pizza is fresh and natural. Sometimes I feel a heavy processed taste with pizza. This was the exact opposite, and it was fantastic. I really liked the crunch of the crust, but it wasn't crispy. The sauce had a natural sweetness from the tomatoes, which allows for less additions of spices. I really enjoyed the flavor of the generous sauce. The cheese was melted and average distribution. The pepperoni looked like it was put on a cheese slice before hitting the oven (I understand this is like killing two birds with one stone, but just wished my pepperoni was cooked a little more). The sausage was juicy and cooked well into the other toppings. Both slices had little to no grease. Overall, I didn't feel gross after eating this like I do with other slice places. If you're in the area, you definitely have to check them out for delicious pizza and great customer service!
