Meh. No taste to it. Needs more herbs and spices.

No rookie shit here. Slice 1 was definitely better than slice 2. I say they are on a sliding scale of 8.5-8.8 depending on how fresh it is. The sausage is impeccable. The dough is to die for. Absolutely love the crust. Would order a slice just to eat the crust. No bust here only the best New York slice in the city. Yes I repeat “Best New York slice in the city.”

It was very greasy and floppy. Cheese was also heavy and chewy. 6.1 is a bit high but the crust was crispy and sauce was descent.

Good pie. Really nice crust. Sauce needs a little more tang and spice. Little too greasy for my liking. Good neighborhood pizza.

Alright Frankie this pizza pie is solid! Nice little slice to pick up on the way home up here in the heart of Uptown. Greasy as hell but the cheese tastes good. Probably one of my all time favorite crusts too. It’s missing something though. Oh yeah....Sauce! Need fucking sauce, Frankie.

Not bad but could be better. Definitely one of the better nyc style places in Chicago. Could of been just a tad thinner and some better cheese to not be greasy

Solid pizza, a little greasy but definitely will not disappoint for a quick slice.

NY style slices on one of the better crusts I've had, but not quite as good as some other spots. I enjoyed Gigio's. I thought they did a great job at getting pretty close to that NY flavor, which really starts with the sauce. It fell a tad short, but overall I was decently impressed. You know the drill: grab a triangle, fold it, and eat. There was some flop, but not enough that you couldn't hold it one-handed. They got it down here. It surprisingly wasn't too greasy and didn't take away from the balance of toppings. No frills spot for a slice or delivery. It is everything you'd expect from an old school hole-in-the-wall joint. Walking and grab a slice.
