buttcrust
This is a tough one to review. It’s brick oven, wood fired, hand tossed pizza. It’s fantastic. I can’t believe it’s in Montana, honestly. The crust is really nice. But it’s KIND OF Neapolitan style... which Dave isn’t a fan of (he starts at 6.7) but only so in taste, which has that coal/wood fired taste which he likes. It’s not floppy like Neapolitan and it’s crispier on the outer crust. I have a feeling Dave would be in the 7.6- 7.8 range. But maybe higher because it is really good. For me, it ties the other place I recently rated an 8.6, but that place’s crust is less traditional and is corn meal based, which gives it a unique crisp. They’re totally different, but equally enjoyable to me. But both are probably 9+ for Montana, really. I think 8.6 is a very fair score.
