Half step above the staples like Lou Malnatis and Giordanos. Crust is awesome, cheese is super stringy and tough to manage when it’s fresh out of the oven but once it settles it’s great. Gets better the longer you let it sit

To be fair, it was Luke warm when it came out. The crust is flaky. The mozzarella is plentiful, but we would want a few more notes of flavor. Get the lunch special and then go to Giardano’s. Note- deep dish isn’t our favorite style.

The girl is a 10 but the pizza is a 7.1. The beer is actually really good. They make their own award winning beer.

Pepperoni and ordered slightly over cooked. Came out perfectly cooked. The sauce is slightly sweet and very tasty. Crust was also a good combination of soft and dense. Nice taste to that also. Thinly sliced pepperoni underneath but didn’t have enough flavor to add.

Hard to say because it’s deep dish and “Chicago fire” but honestly.... so good. Barstool Hartland check it out.

So good you’ll put it in the ice bucket in your hotel when you don’t have a fridge. Not my favorite deep dish, but good.

I done messed up A-arod! Ordered the thin crust bc I wanted to be fair by scoring on this app. Thin crust was very disappointing, traditional deep dish (not pictured) was solid! So I averaged the two scores and gave just one.

I don’t want to take anything away from Gino’s. There are just better famous chains. It’s a touristy stop and it is good. I got both a thin crust sausage (they forgot my pepperoni) and a small deep dish. The thin is just blah. Good sauce but everything else seemed under done or an afterthought. Thin is a clear 6.1. The deep is what you’re here for though. It’s a classic. It has a good amount of toppings under a savory sauce. It’s not watery, but not quite chunky. If you like lots is sauce, this is for you. The dough is a hybrid crust of a Lou’s and giordanos. It has a golden brown interior that gives it a unique flavor and airy flaky texture, that is signature to Gino’s. Overall, the deep dish is great and you can never go wrong with Gino’s; tourist or not.

Our first time in Chicago and this was the best pizza I have ever had. The staff was fantastic and the pizza was incredible. Great flavour and excellent crust. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in Chicago.

This pizza was incredible. Definitely the best while in Chicago. The crust has the perfect amount of crunch and sauce was perfect. We will definitely be back soon.
