Gino's Italian Restaurant

Family owned restaurant, folks from Long Island, family pictures all over the walls. That being said, I had high hopes! I ordered the large pepperoni and it was plenty for 2. The crust had crunch and after cooling a bit 0 flop. The cheese is insane, thick and seasoned. The sauce has a good tang and the pepperoni was really tasty. The dough was fluffy and not a thin crunchy underneath which I’m not usually a fan of. The thing about the dough though is the flavor, it’s buttery and flavorful, they could probably sell the crust as a side. In Austin this might be one of the best.
