Gino's New York Pizzeria Tampa Road

First time review and first time eating a pie from Gino’s. I was really impressed I do not like a a lot of cheese on my pie and I like it a little well done - this was made to order and came out fantastic. Crust sauce and cheese were a hit

Decent slice. Super fresh and everything proportioned well definitely new York style. Undercooked crust just how i like it. The sauce is sweet overall a decent slice.

Was very lucky to show up when I did as I was getting slices and they just pulled a fresh pizza out of the oven. The sauce on this pizza is great. Very flavorful and savory. It’s the standout aspect of this pizza. The cheese was decent but was lacking compared to the sauce. The dough was good too. If they can up their cheese game this pizza could be a contender but as of now it’s still good pizza.

Today is an official national holiday/celebration day, NATIONAL PIZZA DAY. For this big occasion, I decided to drive up to Palm Harbor, North of Clearwater, to do some pizza reviews. 1. First stop is here at Gino's. I passed here once before but they didn't sell slices after 3pm, so I came back. 2. I have to say, the sauce on this slice was amazing. Perfectly seasoned and super delicious, basically a perfect 10. 3. The slice was very thin and very floppy, although the dough did have a perfect undercarriage. 4. My rating is 7.9

Doesn’t reach a level of greatness but it’s good. I ordered with extra cheese which obscured the flavor of the sauce etc... Anyway, if you’re out and about and in the mood for a pizza, this one will do the trick. Won’t blow ya away but won’t leave you disappointed.

I asked for Well-done. I want a crisp bite. Pizza came out tasting good but had lots of flop and almost no crisp. Other than that sauce and cheese was great. FL doesn’t understand “well-done” pizza

Slices had decent crisp. Good sauce ratio. Standard football pizza but not bad for area.

Solid pie. Good sauce. Not too greasy. Slight flop but nice crunch to the crust. No char like I would’ve liked. Their ovens could probably be about 50 degrees hotter. Dave would probably score this one 7.3-4.

Had to go back and try the San Marzano Square they had and it did not disappoint! Perfect crunch to fluffiness back to crunch ratio throughout the bite. Sauce and cheese on point and basil perfect compliment. Very impressed.

Great little neighborhood spot. Staff makes you feel like family. As for the Sicilian slice, very light and airy. Has a bitter buttery tase. Just the right amount of cheese to sauce ratio and the sauce had a nice tang to it. Would highly recommend if you’re in the area checking it out

Crust was pretty good crunch wise but had a strong flour taste to it. The cheese was great and the sauce was good also on the sweet side. Overall it’s a basic utility pizza that you shove in your pie hole when you’re starving or drunk as shit. Football pizza as they come. 6.4 that’s a review!

Heard a lot about this place. Wasn’t that good. Crust was crisp and tasty. Cheese and sauce just lacked. Queens pizza is across the street.... that’s where it’s at!

Classic NY style slice. Mega flop.
