Eye test- cause for concern. Neither looks any good Plain slice is as follows- Dough - lacks crisp and has no taste at all. Is it old? Pretty horrendous Cheese- ok texture and at best average taste Sauce- there is virtually none and the taste is simply unidentifiable. A tragic fail bomb Ratio- just a tad too much cheese and certainly way too little sauce. Execution- really weak. No crisp and a tasteless disaster. Score 5.1 Bonus tomato pie- sauce jumps out as a profound weakness. Tastes like tomato paste with sugar. Absolutely terrible. The rest isn’t worth the energy of explaining. A stone cold tragedy Score 2.2 Rick Wakeman once said, “Some of the simplest things get ruined with unnecessary complexity.” Ya think? This is a really good example of taking three simple ingredients and going off the deep end. Wow.
