Gino's Pizza

Owner is a good dude. Great pizza. Really enjoyed it. Need more places like this in Iowa.

We decided to make one more pizza stop on way home from daughter’s college visit. This place is in a mall….a dying mail (maybe 5 stores still active?). But man this was worth it. Owner doesn’t have slices up front to sell but will make them fresh if you can wait 10-15 minutes. It’s well worth it too. Good NY slice with great crisp all around and good sauce to boot (cooked fresh in the store). Little buttery edges that gives a little more flavor and you got yourself a fantastic stop for a slice. I will definitely come back and get a full pizza in the future!!!!

Best Pizza in Iowa. Not even close. For me it touches the 9’s. Had pizza all over the country, new york style, detroit style, chicago style, everything. This is a “New York” pie no doubt and is up there with the best. Eat it hot out of the oven and it’s unreal. Great crust, crispy, always well done, good under, good sauce and cheese ratio, no flop at all. Owner runs it all by himself. Must try.

We have a very limited selection of pizza around here, but this is one of the best in the Cedar Valley. We are lucky to have Gino’s. Great flavor, little flop, undercarriage well done, easy 7.7. (Pictured Pepperoni/Green Pepper.)

It’s not even a fuckin debate best in the cedar valley. I know some dick riding OP lovers are going to start a movement over my ratings but who fucking cares. Chads is in close second.

Great pizza. Always hot and ready. Crust is crispy and thin. Nothing overpowering.
