This is a margherita slice review for Gino’s of New Hyde Park. This is a must try slice for anyone in the neighborhood of this excellent Pizzeria. The star of the show is the crust... it’s phenomenal. High quality ingredients clearly utilized. Pro tip: make sure you eat this one hot. Sometimes I don’t like my pizza right out of the oven, but this slice noticeably benefits from it.

Solid all-around! If you pick only one I recommend the garlic knot slice! The flavors just all hit the right way on that one! I’m not generally a regular slice fan, but theirs is worth it! The grandma was the only one slightly disappointing, good flavor but it either had too much cheese or it wasn’t warmed long enough. ⭐️Garlic Knot: 7.5 ⭐️Regular: 7.2 ⭐️Grandma: 6.8

Regular: good crispy slice, sauce is solid, a little heavy on the cheese but it tastes great 8.2 Upsidedown: really crispy, the char on the undercarriage is delicious sauce and cheese spot on real good slice 8.6 With umbertos of N.H.P down the street and this place, one has to wonder how the dominos across the street stays open
