It was pretty greasy, not much flavor. Almost $40 I wouldn’t come here again.

Really nice fresh sauce lots of of pure tomato flavor, cheese is solid, doesn’t taste cheap. Major flop though though on the dough and not much flavor. If they fermented the dough more and left it in the oven longer it could get to the high 7’s maybe an 8. That’s the review

Alright... Pizza Review Time!! We are here in San Francisco off Hayes Street at Gioia Pizzeria. One bite everyone knows the rules... From the looks of it looks like a real NY slice. Good undercarriage with some flop to it. It's has decent crunch to it and is super light and thin exactly. Pretty good cheese to sauce ratio. Going to go 7.9 and that's the review!

not bad . warm but needs MORE SAUCE it affects the flavor and taste profile. NY Pizza always has plenty of sauce. This place is OK but there are BETTER pizzerias

my new favorite slice in SF (previously Arinells). What would simply be a competent slice in NYC suddenly becomes a game changer in a city starved of good options. Score is just for the cheese slice, I’m not a monster.

Almost an 8.0. Excellent pizza. Great flavored crust that possesses right level of crisp. Quality of cheese and pepperoni is very good. I only wish the sauce had more tang

Barstool one bite... 8.1 good gold, little greasy, not to sandy but just enough, good crunch, and overall taste very good. Nothing special but nothing bad. Would have a slice after 4 quarters of football or after bar food...

Best slice in the city. This is a real score, could be 8.7 but they just opened so giving them benefit of the doubt. Great sauce to cheese ratio creates a nice light oil, which is the damn truth. Charred bottom done nice, they only flopped with a topping (cheese slice gone at time of photo). The salsiccia slice doesn’t fuck around either. Much needed asset to the neighborhood and central SF
