Quality ingredients. Have to appreciate the style, however would not go out of my way to order.

From earlier this year before I had the app. Had to post now because probably the best pizza I ever had. Fantastic. Dave rated 8.4. I’ll go higher. I’d go higher if it wasn’t for the natural affect of Chicago pizza making you so weighted down. So good tho

Delicious. That second layer of dough separating the sauce from the toppings is genius.

The gluten free crust is pretty good! Very fresh ingredients for sure!

It was a little doughy for my taste but overall was really good. The cheese was nice and stringy, the sauce was great, there was an amazing amount of meat on it for a meat lovers and the crust was the right amount of crunchy. Classic Chicago deep dish.

Great sauce. Loads of cheese. Very creamy. Crust a little dry not much flavor. Also, messy and wet

This is my 3rd Giordano’s location that I’ve reviewed. Despite what the “sauced” bros did and blanketed all locations with the same review, I’d like to say I have very different experiences at every location, so they deserve a review each. I was hungover today. Getting pizza for lunch on Sunday’s in the city can be limited sometimes. Giordano’s is always open and a go-to. I went with the thin half pepperoni and chicken sausage and half cheese. This the most cheese I’ve received on a Giordano’s thin ever. It reminded me of Beggars. You can see on the right side where it was melted but not caramelized. I didn’t mind this, but the inconsistencies across locations is pretty obvious. There was a lot of their savory sauce, which made it messy, but I put down about half of this beast and took a nap immediately after. Try the chicken sausage sometime; it had just a slightly less salty flavor but maintained the Italian seasoning and moisture. The crust was a little dry for me even though it was cooked well and not burnt. The crust is white flower based. Overall, no major complaints. Can’t go wrong with Giordano’s thin or their famous stuffed.

🍕 Chicago Classic : pepperoni, green pepper, onion, mushroom ⭐️ 7.7 (Brett) ⭐️ 7.1 (Brady) ⭐️ 8.4 (Dave Portnoy) 💸 $24 (Small = 6 slices) 💭 Stop☝🏼on our Chicago Deep Dish Tour and we decided to go with the undisputed heavy weight champion. Giordano’s was once synonymous with Chicago Deep Dish and has found even more fame by going commercial and expanding throughout the country. “They” say it’s Chicago’s best but we still don’t know who “they” are and as dedicated pizza reviewers we decided to find out for ourselves. We went with the Chicago Classic Deep Dish. Weighing in around 10lbs, this thing was STACKED with cheese. We think they pride themselves in their cheese pulls and go out of their way to make theirs the cheesiest. So while it looks great in photos, it tends to dominate the whole pizza. To make the dough to cheese ratio more favorable they make this really “doughy” with no type of crunch. And then the veggies were a little undercooked and not chopped up small enough in our opinion. For the best known deep dish spot, our expectations were higher especially after Dave gave this his highest Chicago Deep Dish rating of 8.4. Did Giordano’s sell out and go too commercial? Still worth a try but we believe the best is yet to come.

Very good pizza. First time in Chicago so I had to try it. I got their most popular meat pizza. Sausage was a little overbearing compared to the rest of the pizza but cheese, sauce and crust all were fantastic. Great experience
