For Chicago style pizza Giordano's is a pretty good starting point. As a fan of other Chicago style places in the area, this pizza does it's job with a good crunch on the crust and a good tang in the marinara sauce. Obviously the flop score can't be judged on this one since Deep Dish has to be eaten with a fork and knife anyway but I feel the crust was baked perfectly for this style of pizza.

best deep dish of all time. Used to prefer Ginos, but Gio has grown on me like a fungus.. anyway, you know the deal, tons of moz and fantastic fucking sauce all baked in a thick pie crust

I enjoyed the taste of the cheese but that was it. There was a lot of sauce. Wasn’t a huge fan of the sauce.
