Pizza was good overall but not as cheese packed with flavor as I would have expected from a Chicago style pizza. The sauce was really good and the crust was not as buttery as u would expect from a pizza like this

Back with a big review! Deep dish is my style so I’m always a little biased. The Lollapalooza lineup dropped & saw a dope performance by @biancashawmusic & @taylorbennett go follow them on IG & Twitter

This place was amazing from service and staff friendliness all the way to its epic pizza. It opened my eyes that there 5 types of pizza on earth. I never respected the deep dish until this. A solid 9

Real authentic, Chicago style deep dish. Full of flavor. Beautiful.

After the 1.5 hour wait the middle of the deep dish was cold. I guess they didn’t have enough time to heat it up. On top of that the crust seemed like half bread half Caulk.

🍕 Chicago Classic : pepperoni, green pepper, onion, mushroom ⭐️ 7.7 (Brett) ⭐️ 7.1 (Brady) 💸 $24 (Small = 6 slices) 💭 Stop☝🏼on our Chicago Deep Dish Tour and we decided to go with the undisputed heavy weight champion. Giordano’s was once synonymous with Chicago Deep Dish and has found even more fame by going commercial and expanding throughout the country. “They” say it’s Chicago’s best but we still don’t know who “they” are and as dedicated pizza reviewers we decided to find out for ourselves. We went with the Chicago Classic Deep Dish. Weighing in around 10lbs, this thing was STACKED with cheese. We think they pride themselves in their cheese pulls and go out of their way to make theirs the cheesiest. So while it looks great in photos, it tends to dominate the whole pizza. To make the dough to cheese ratio more favorable they make this really “doughy” with no type of crunch. And then the veggies were a little undercooked and not chopped up small enough in our opinion. For the best known deep dish spot, our expectations were higher especially after El Pres gave this his highest Chicago Deep Dish rating of 8.4. Still worth a try but we believe the best is yet to come

Not really a deep dish pizza guy and also had to wait like an hour for the pie, but sauce is really good and the excess cheese was actually good. Will I’ll eat there when I’m back in Chicago? I think so. Will I’ll eat deep dish pizza in any other state? Nope.

I’m no deep dish fan but this pizza was very good. Cheesy, good sauce. Usually I hate the crust on deep dish but something about this crust was better than I’ve had before.
