Great deep dish pizza. Lots of cheese. Sauce was great. Crust was a tad too dry.

Disregard the pic, couldn’t stop eating long enough to leave a review. Dave normally goes high on his reviews. Not this time. He’s almost a whole point under. 8.4 is a ridiculous low ball and I think it’s because he couldn’t admit that a deep dish is better than his preferred New York bar slice. This is a 9.2. It’s hard to imagine it getting better than this.

I am not a fan of deep dish pizza, with that said this is in my top 5 pizzas ever. The crust has a great crunch even with the half a cow of cheese packed into this pie. The cheese in it’s ridiculous amounts is not too much with the strong flavor of the sauce it brings a nice balance. Would recommend this to anyone looking for pizza in Chicago. 45 minute wait for the pizza is well worth it.

Not my favorite style of Pizza, but the sauce is amazing.

Very standard for Chicago deep dish style. Didn’t have as flavor or richness in the sauce. More cheesy-heavy. Crust is fine.

Hot out of the oven. Good size slice stuffed with tons of cheese. Crust is firm, but also flaky like a pie crust. Very good pizza. 8.7/10.

Light sauce extra cheese

So. I’ve never had a true Chicago deep dish pizza before this one today. So I feel a little skewed on the scoring because I don’t have anything really to compare it to. But I liked it. A lot. The crust is flaky, almost reminded me a bit of pie crust. I loved the cheese and the sauce is tasty. I feel like this is probably a really great Chicago-style deep dish, but again, nothing else to compare it to, but I liked it.
