Pizza Review
If you are a cheese lover, then look no further! Giordano’s deep dish pizza is a cheese lovers dream, as it has two thin crusts, a top and a bottom, that separate the cheese from the rest of the toppings and sauce. The potential love affair quickly ends as the cheese isn’t particularly interesting by any means as it lacks any type of seasoning. The sauce itself, is a smooth blend instead of a chunky blend, however like the cheese it lacks seasoning and flavor. The crust is a flour based crust, which was airy and chewy, but it makes the pizza heavy. In other words, a slice or two will have you stuffed. Living in Chicago, one can say that the rivalry between Giordano’s and Lou Malnati’s is as heated as Cubs versus White Sox, however, Lou Malnati’s is far superior to Giordano’s in my opinion.
