The sauce is the star of the show! The spice profile of the sauce is off the charts. It is well balanced yet you can individually taste each featured spice. It is slightly acidic yet has a subtle sweetness, complimented well by the smooth texture of the cheese. The crust is flakey and buttery. Surprisingly, it not soggy, given it holds the weight of the cheese and sauce. While the crust helps showcase the sauce, it serves as stage help rather than a supporting actor. A bit more emphasis put on the crust and this would be in 9 territory. Overall, a great pie with some upside crust potential, and grounded by the fact that the repeatability to eat this is 1x/quarter to truly appreciate it.

Great tasting pie. Tons of flavor. Cheese and sauce are excellent. Crust was very flaky and cooked well. Flavor on the crust was a bit bland and dry. Overall an amazing deep dish slice

I’ve reviewed many Girodanos locations. I prefer their thin crust over their stuffed. Sometimes that soggy layer of dough on top is noticeable, but if you’re a cheese lover, you won’t be disappointed. Still, it’s a staple and never lets me down. Always solid if you don’t know where to go.

Thin crust excellent here. Pic Attached is an extra thin spinach which was ok but get the regular thin crust and you will have a good time. Meat lovers is very good. Even though can be considered a “touristy” spot it’s worth a stop once a year. #Shazaam

Too saucy, felt almost like eating lasagna, great cheese, couple bites in there were in the 8’s but overall weak and dry crust kept the score low
