Gio's Pizza

Here we go! I was in the area. Grabbed a coke at circle K and seen this hidden gem hiding in a little strip mall. As soon as I walked in I knew it was gonna be a great slice! Deck ovens are usually the best sign of a great pie. Beautiful char on the under carriage. Even though the slice was probably sitting for a few hours. It still had bite! Cheese was perfect. Pepperoni was flawless. 8.3 final score. I can only imagine what their pie would taste like fresh! Great job guys!

Sicilian.. very doughy could have been much crispier.. the regular pie is much better but wanted to try the Sicilian.. will leave a review on the the regular as well

Grew up in pizza heaven, NJ/NY. Moved to AZ almost twenty years ago and this place is the best. It would even be considered a great place in NJ. So good we even freeze half pies for later.

Marinara, no cheese. Sauce has a nice tang.

Definitely an above average slice for the Phoenix area! THIN slice so expect a little flop but rest assured, still plenty of crunch! A little on the greasy side but nothing to fret over. The crust and cheese have great flavor but the real star of the show is the sauce. Friendly staff and tidy restaurant. Easily lands a spot in the top 10 best slices I’ve had in AZ.

Solid good pizza.. great looking pizza the people are nice not sure what language the cook was talking but that made me want to taste it more lol... I will for sure come by again
