Giovanni's & Sons Pizzeria

Grew up in Connecticut my whole life and Giovanni’s New Haven style pizza is as close to the real thing as I’ve had outside of CT. My favorite pizza in Pennsylvania!

Great dough with a good char. Slightly sweet sauce. Consistently reliable. Their New Haven and Tavern pies are exceptional too.

Went with the Tavern Style bar pie… pretty good. Could be more crisp in the center, sauce is a little garlicky and steals the show a bit. Cheese blend is good

The sauce on the regular sauce is bland and a bit disappointing. The veggie slice was not much better. There has to be a better choice in this town for pizza. However, it’s quite nice inside with friendly employees.

It’s solid, a little too doey for my liking. The cheese and sauce are decent. Nothing bad about this pizza, decent all around

Tasty and cheesy pizza. The perfect amount of basil and a good crunch to the crust. Tons of flop. Good pepperoni with the ends on some slightly burnt which is the best way to have them. Very greasy but not necessarily a bad thing.

I have had the pizza before but never gave it my formal review. The food here is awesome and the atmosphere just as pleasant. Garlic knots greet you as you sit to eat and they are the best. As for my pizza review, this place is definitely a staple of the town and they deliver with there pizza. Solid 7.1 as I would definitely be back to eat again. Good pizza, good price and great people can’t beat Giovanni’s in Royersford, PA.
